  • We aim to approve your application within 72 hours. As long as all the documentation meets our criteria you’ll be ready to start accepting jobs!

  • No, you only need to provide your GDC number. We will check the register for verification.

  • You must have indemnity cover to be GDC registered. If you’re considering arranging cover with MIAB, Towergate Insurance, or another provider, we recommend searching for more information online.

  • We would suggest calling your indemnifier to check that you are eligible to work with locumloop.

  • Yes, a valid GDC number is required. Once you’ve qualified and your CV has been reviewed, you can start working with us!

    However, you can start your sign up process by filling out your ‘Basic Info’ and then uploading the documents that you have available.

    This way you’ll also receive up to date information about all locumloop developments.

  • Yes, if you’ve lost your DBS certificate, you’ll need to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check.

FAQs - Payments

  • No, it is completely free!

  • You should be paid directly into your bank account within 7-30 days of completing that day’s work. Each job will vary, and there is more information on each job post.

  • You will be paid £40 per hour.

  • No, we charge a daily rate to the practice and take none from your salary.

  • There may be a note left on your account and a fine. If there are too many negative notes you may face temporary or permanent suspension.

  • Unfortunately, you will not get paid for your travel, but you can limit the number of miles you want to travel on your profile.

FAQs - Jobs

  • You will receive an email as soon as a practice posts a job.

    This will indicate the name of the practice, address, distance from you, hours, phone number, how much you will earn, and any other key information.

  • You can set a limit to the number of miles you would like to travel. You will then only receive a notification for jobs within that radius. You are then able to choose which job you take - we will not assign jobs to you. You are in control.

FAQs - Employment

  • locumloop will never restrict you from working with another agency or practice. You can continue working employed as long as they permit it.

    This means that you can have the peace of mind that you will be as busy as you want to be. Work as much or as little as you want with us - the whole month or only once a month.

  • No – you just need a valid GDC number. You can be qualified for 1 month or 10 years.

  • You can work with us as soon as you have received your GDC number.

    In the meantime you can join locumloop with your ‘Basic Info’ and upload any documents that you do have available.
